Welcome to Portland State University's Bel Canto Northwest Vocal Institute 2006!

Bel Canto Northwest is an advanced, intensive, and individual three-week training program for dedicated young professional and pre-professional singers and accompanists. Our program enables talented young singers to work with the best in European and American teaching in a humanistic atmosphere. Daily instruction in technique, repertoire, acting for singers, musical skills, and diction and style, along with a full public performance series, help prepare young singers and accompanists for a career in the profession.
